So Far
When the Flux attacked, the people of Acrimon lost their home to the Wildes. Now, the descendants of the survivors of the First War are scattered — across land, sea, and sky. In Kyrthys, a skybound city, the monarchy has caught wind of a prophecy that could return them to the land. When our heroes are sent to find the city's salvation, they discover a world unbound by the strict rules of the Arcaenon. Gods walk among them, and divinity is even more violent than the crown.

Brine (she/They)
stout halfling rogue
Brine is a stout halfling rogue with a heart of gold and a compulsive lying problem. She left her hometown more than a decade ago and has since established an extensive network of contacts for her work as a smuggler and assassin. Adventure is mostly unheard of in Brine’s family, and they’ve all spent decades with their fingers in the dirt. If Brine faced them now, she fears they wouldn’t recognize her — but the temptation to return, especially to see her former love, is strong.

hurricane genasi druid
Current, much like her name, has been following the flow of the wind and the sea for as long as she can remember. Orphaned as a baby, this young genasi found refuge with the top wizard advisor to the royal family. Current lived a very sheltered adolescence, for fear any harm would come to them. Their days were spent studying, honing her own magic abilities, and (when she could manage it), slipping away to observe the life of the kingdom. Life for Current has been one shrouded by the unknowns and a particular calling towards adventure that often gets them into trouble. Still, the small voice that calls her beyond the limits of the kingdom has grown as she did. Now a young adult, they can't help but to feel the pulling of — something, a change. Whatever it may be, Current can sense it and desperately needs to follow.
gideon (she/they)
glasya tiefling sorcerer
Gideon is a tiefling wild magic sorcerer, and an up and coming court mage willing to do almost anything to prove herself. Gideon’s magic may come from chaos that even she can’t control, but that hasn’t stopped her dream of one day being one of, if not the most powerful magic user in the realm.
While she may have a more prickly exterior, those who know her best would admit she still has a soft side, even if begrudgingly. After all, who needs vulnerability when you have magic and power?
Ula (They/Them)
Triton Paladin of Magistrae
Captain Ula Zaire (They/Them) is a Triton Paladin of Magistrae. They’re 6’ tall and have greenish-blue skin with scales, a fat and muscular build, and long, wavy, purple-to-pink ombré hair with a side shave. Ula grew up in Skyreach Home, an orphanage in The Weeds of Kyrthys. Growing up was tolerable only because they had their childhood friend by their side. Feeling like a burden on Kyrthys, Ula left all they knew behind at 16 to search for answers about their ancestry, and how to be a protector to their loved ones. Through necessity, they found a career in bounty hunting, eventually leaving that path to become a protege of Luceaux Kaviar (He/Him). When Kaviar abruptly disappeared, Ula became his successor and currently rules his empire.
Winona (she/her)
half elf barbarian
Winona is a barbarian half elf who is fiercely loyal to those she loves. She is big, goofy and aloof but can lift an ox if needed, and place it back down with tender love and care. She stands at 5’5” with broad shoulders, medium dark brown skin, and a bushy mullet with curly bangs and hair that comes down to her mid back pushed behind her pointed ears, with an undercut. She has a round, friendly face with bushy eyebrows, a soft nose and a big, black lipstick-painted smile. She dresses like a femme jock, with a lilac bomber jacket, a sports bra that fits like a tank top, black leggings and high top retro sneakers. She also has a rainbow scrunchie on her wrist for when she needs to tie her hair into a top bun to prepare for a fight. She has a pink backpack she carries everything in. When her jacket is off, you can see her arms and chest covered from wrist to wrist in floral tattoos. Her heritage dictates her lineage is born of the flowers, and she has bouquet arrangements and vines to represent her bloodline.
